Reflection: Abiyyu Arif Rahman says...

Pre-camp reflections

Read the introduction, objectives and theoretical background to the project and then answer the following questions:
  •      What interests you about this project?
  •       What do you want to learn by doing this project?
  •       What questions do you have about this project?
  •      What do you personally want to have achieved by the end of this project?
I  joined this project because I am very interested in physics and sports. I am also interested in chemistry. My top three science topics that I like is physics, chemistry and geology, in no specific order. The reason I took this topic and not those involving chemistry is because I also want to learn more about how I can relate science to sports. I have no questions about the project and personally I want to be better at physics

Reflections on Plenary Sessions

For each plenary session, consolidate your learning by answering the following questions:
  •     What are your key learning points?
  •      What new questions do you have about the topic?

  1. I think i’ve learnt a lot from this talk especially from the earthquake talk by Prof Kerry Sieh. Coincidentally, geology is one of my favorite topic in science. I am interested to learn much more as I was inspired by him. It interest me how earthquakes can be accurately measured by many unique and unexpected ways.
  2. I love anime, especially detective conan and pokemon. This is an opportunity for me to revolutionized the world just as pokemon has. It might be a start to something big. I am also interested in some of the editing effects as I really like good quality movie.
  3. I am extremely interested in this partly because my mother’s cousin visited the nano tech school or something like that and told me some of the cool stuff two years ago. I like the new material which is the carbon nano tubes. I am also interested in the new technology where radioactivity is used to cure cancer. The variety of solutions nanotech can have convinced me that There is many possibilities to explore to have a solution to any problem in the world.
